What our guests say...
Thank you for such a lovely stay at Creigard Bungalow. Ava says a huge 'thank you' for the Rupert the Bear bed sheets - she loved them this week. S&SB (Clophill, Beds)
Thank you. Yes, the journey was fine. You live in a beautiful place and we would love to come back. As for making the bungalow tidy, it's the least we could do. We had a much needed break thanks to you and we very much appreciate it. Best wishes to you and your family. K&JH (Newcastle upon Tyne)
Thank you very much for your warm welcome Neil and Tina and we immediately felt 'at home' entering the Cottage for the first time. We spent two lovely weeks here, spotting Otters and meeting friendly Deers (they are not shy around here!). We had beautiful walks on the nice days (like Stac Pollaidh; amazing view) and it was nice to stay warm in the Cottage on the few rainy days. Assynt is definitely a great place to stay and we'll be happy to come back to visit you some day. The Highland Stoneware pottery set is gorgeous. Thank you. Merci beaucoup! B et S (Lille, France)
We thought the location of the cottage was in a great spot, quiet with nature all around but still close to civilization; and that it was really comfortable and well stocked with all the bits you need, but forget to bring with you. We had a really great time while we were there, lots of walking and fishing, unfortunately this time nothing large enough for tea. Also managed to get a few good photos of the wild life; a nice stag and a buzzard close up, both taken just short walk from the cottage. We will be sure to recommend the cottage and bungalow to all our friends who holiday in Scotland. M&TW (Nottingham)
Thank you both for everything, we have enjoyed ourselves very much and it is always a pleasure staying in your Cottage. Time passed all too quickly. Sorry we couldn't take up your offer to go on your boat but Max would have found it too difficult. Best wishes, M&EH (Matlock)
Thanks again for a wonderful week and generous hospitality. We got the venison sausages and black pudding home still frozen. We have some excellent video to reminisce over, S&AW (London)
Thanks for your cosy Cottage and kind ways throughout our week here. Many thanks, P&NB (Thame)
Thank you so much for sending the tea-towel and ear rings. The 'Ballerina' is getting more senile each year! As we said, it was one of our best holidays we ever had. Of course we were lucky with the weather. The Bungalow was great. See you again, many thanks. S&RB (Scarborough)
Just a note to thank you for a warm welcome and a very pleasant stay at your Bungalow. There was every provision one could possibly wish for on holiday - a home from home. Thank you again and every good wish to you and your family. Looking forward to another visit sometime soon. Yours sincerely, S&BB and S&DM (Aberdeen)
Thank you for the 'loan' of your Cottage. Thank you for the fruit. We have loved our week in Sutherland. From S&RR (Scarborough)
Just a note to thank you for a very enjoyable week in your cosy Cottage. The flowers and fruit very welcoming. We loved the panoramic view each evening. B&GL (Ossett)
Thank you once again for the use of your excellent accommodation, the fruit - including the rhubarb and the flowers but most of all for making us feel so welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Badnaban. Terry particularly enjoyed the walks and trek up Quinag even though his legs did ache afterwards. With many thanks and our best wishes. A&TP (Doncaster)
Thank you for your warm and friendly welcome. Thank you for the massive effort you have made to allow others to enjoy the rugged scenery, tranquility and surprises of Sutherland (eg. the deer!). Thank you for the beautiful posies of garden flowers, the 'Wild Berries' stoneware and the crystal glasses. So thank you for giving us all the comforts of home and much, much more. Best wishes and thanks for the photos. Hope to see you again, H&RG (Musselburgh)
Just to say thank you so much for such a memorable week by taking us out in your new boat. We have had the most wonderful holiday here again. With much love, P&MD (Chippenham)
Thank you for the rental of Creigard Bungalow two weeks ago, for the delicious scones, fruit and delightful flowers. All so welcoming. We have been having self-catering holidays for over thirty years now and in that time we have never known such a comfortable bed. In fact we slept so well, on many days Kate was not waking til 8.30, something which is unheard of. It also helps being in such a quiet position and with no light pollution. The bungalow in Poolewe had no such treats last week but it was a convenient situation for the areas we wished to see. The restaurants in Lochinver were so much better than anywhere we found in Poolewe or Gairloch. However if you are ever sailing or visiting that area, try The Badachro Inn (3 miles by road) from Gairloch, can thoroughly recommend it. We will remember everything about Creigard but especially the welcome and the views. Best wishes and thanks again. K&PT (Saffron Waldon)
